The Best Technique I’ve Found That Can Empower You to Live the Life You Want

(If you read before part two was up, let it be known that part two is now up. Scroll down to the header saying “Part Two” to read it. :) )

This is coming at you live and as unedited as possible (the inner critic might get past a few times, but I’m pretty sure I’ve got it under control for the time being). Part one and part two will both be in the same post, just that part two will come after I’ve done a thing, and will be added onto this post then.

What is this thing?

Glad you asked. I’m actually going to tell you the specifics after I’ve used it, just so y’all can have a case study to look at for evidence to see if it worked. Granted, the evidence might come after a period of time, but I’m hoping that there will be enough (subtle?) changes in the writing for part two that you’ll be able to tell that something’s happened. Fingers crossed.

What does this thing do, then?

Well, that I can tell you. Have you heard of limiting beliefs? A limiting belief is a thing that you believe about yourself that gets in the way of you having, being, or experiencing the life you were meant to live. Ok. So that was a bit of an edit there. I have this tendency to secularize what I mean so that it “translates better” (no idea if it actually does). What I meant to say is that a limiting belief blocks you from having the life that God intended for you. Not everyone believes that God intends for us to have an awesome life, thus my edit, but I do. So no more editing of that. Cool. Done.

I’ve been using this thing to get rid of limiting beliefs and replace them with healthy, life-giving ones. It takes just under half an hour, and it’s allowed me to break free of things that have plagued me (at most) my entire life. This is no exaggeration. If you know me, you know that I don’t exaggerate about things like this. Actually, I don’t think I exaggerate ever. In general. I have this thing about accuracy. But back on topic.

I’ve actually been using this for a while, because I wanted to have enough evidence in my life of its effectiveness that I could then use to back me up in confidently saying: Yes, this stuff works. (Ok, I censored there, too. I don’t actually like swearing, ok?)

But, yes, it works. It works immediately, painlessly, and permanently. It’s freaking fantastic.

So, before I get into what it is, I’m going to get into the reason why this is so live and unedited. I’ve selected (well, discovered) a limiting belief that’s been haunting me for, like, ever. Not exactly sure how long, but it feels long enough to be similar to ever. Thus the like. Plus, why I’m doing this with this particular belief is because, if you’ve read my blog for a while, and if you’ve been on my email list for a while, then you’ll have seen its effects. Anytime I angst about whether I’m doing enough or being enough or giving enough. Anytime I angst about accomplishing things on time, about writing regular blog posts, about accomplishing enough. This all has the same root. And, today, I’m going to replace it. Which means I won’t get enough sleep tonight, but I’m tired of living with this belief, so I’m going to put an end to it. As soon as I finish this.

I’m not sure what I’m going to replace this belief with yet. I’ll let you know in part two. But I do know the belief, and I know I’m right on the nose with it because, when I finally got it in the right words (something that’s important for me, but may not be for you, and definitely isn’t necessary for this to work), I recognized it in the sick way that I imagine someone who’s been abused recognizes their abuser. A mixture of fear and despair and the desire never to lose the safety it brings. Because we hold onto these beliefs because we think they’re good for us on some level, not because we think they’re bad for us.

Ew.

I really hate this feeling.

Anyways. The belief I’m going to remove and replace:

“I am a moral failure when I am behind on anything.” (being behind in understanding, knowledge, awareness, etc. counts just as much as tangible things like work, chores, and marks)

Ok, ick, ick, ick. I hate this feeling. I’m going to get rid of this belief now and I’ll get back to you when I’m done.

Part Two

Ok, now I know why I’m not supposed to sit cross-legged for half an hour. My foot is all pins and needles. Or will be, if I move it. Just before, I couldn’t feel it. :( Learn from my mistakes, people. :P

Anyways. I’m done the thing. The new belief I chose isn’t as well articulated as the one I left behind. I mean, I know exactly what it is, I just don’t have the perfect words for it. Bah. Whatever. :P Here’s a good approximation:

“I am at peace because of the total victory I have in Christ. I am the head (the part that’s in front, that’s on top) and not the tail (the part that’s always behind.”

Something like that. :)

So, what is this thing I’m using? It’s called Heart Physics, and it was created by Dr. James B. Richards, who has a website wherein you can find out all about him. Let’s just say that I know him personally, he’s awesome, and he’s really good at making things practical.

Heart Physics is a guide for Biblical meditation, wherein you connect with your heart and change the beliefs that are messing you up into beliefs that are in line with what’s actually in the Bible. As a result of the way this program is designed, you will receive its full benefit if you’re a Christian. Or if you become a Christian during it? The Christian thing is important. If you’re not a Christian and you’re still interested, definitely go ahead. Just be aware that this is how the program is designed.

The particular exercise I just did is the last exercise in the New Beginnings, an advanced Heart Physics program. In order to get there, it will be in your best interest to start with Essential Heart Physics, go all the way through that, and then go through New Beginnings right until the end. That way, you’ll have built a foundation that will allow you to get the most out of this exercise every time you use it.

The point of this all is to unlock what you already have at your disposal by freeing you of the false beliefs that have been getting in your way and establishing the beliefs that will empower you to start over in any area of your life.

If this sounds overblown, trust me, it’s really not. I’ve been using this for over a year now, and it’s amazing what’s happened. But that’s the whole point of doing this this way, is it not? I could tell you all kinds of things about how it’s helped me, but that won’t be useful information for everyone. I want you to see exactly how this has helped me so that you can decide for yourself if this is a tool you want in your repertoire.

One question you might have: if this is all from the Bible, then why not study the Bible and figure this out on my own? Why do I have to get Heart Physics?

First of all, you don’t have to get Heart Physics. Go ahead and study the Bible for these principles if you want; that’s totally ok. But, if you want to eliminate the slowdown that happens with trial and error and, thus, make the process quicker, then Heart Physics is definitely the way to go.

Yes, it costs money. It will also save you on time. Potentially years. So, do I think it’s worth it?

Absolutely.

I will be buying a CD set of both as soon as possible (currently, I am mooching Heart Physics stuff off my parents because of my financial status. If this mooching had not been possible, I would have bought it for myself, even if that meant being in debt for a little while longer. Yes. This stuff is worth postponing being out of debt).

So, like I said, use it if you want, or wait and see, or don’t use it. Whatever. It’s been a lifechanger for me, and I wanted to get it on your radar so that you could have the opportunity to benefit from it, too. :)

And now I’m off to bed. Good night! Have a great sleep. :D
